IronMama strikes again

IronmanTexas

Congratulations to Mama for finishing another IRONMAN race. She completed the Ironman Texas race. This full triathlon includes a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile marathon (for those of you without a calculator, that’s 140.6 total miles of fun). The race was held in The Woodlands, TX, a northern suburb of Houston. It was a VERY hot and muggy day, with the heat index in the 90s.

Mama finished in 16 hours 37 minutes and 47 seconds (that’s a long day), and she beat her previous time by almost 4 minutes. She didn’t finish the race until nearly midnight.

She finished 5th for her division, and she even finished 1st in her division for the swim (again)!

Way to go Mama- you are an inspiration!
