5 Legs, 10 Feet

On Sunday, April 26, 2015, the relay team of “5 Legs, 10 Feet” ran the 15th Annual Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. This team was made up of 5 runners from across the country (ok, there were 3 from Oklahoma and 2 from Florida). The Duffys made their way West to join up and compete.

The team did great. They finished the marathon with a time of 5:13:27, a new team record. The weather was great, and it was a terrific day for this Run to Remember.

Here’s how the relay worked…

Christie started the race and ran 10K. She handed the baton to Bailey, who ran 5K. He met up with Papa, who ran the longest leg, 12K. He met up with Courtney (which was impressive, considering she had her Junior Prom the night before!), and she ran 5K. Finally, Mama ran the anchor of 10K to finish the race. The whole team was able to run together with Mama across the finish line.
